Like wearing a fresh t-shirt with a unique design? Well anyone can do it with iron-ons or a pen... however, to get a nice pro screen print you'll need to minimum order. Screen One in Bristol are awesome, but they take a minimum order of 12 (that's a dozen) to run a print. So why don't we club together in an "i'll buy yours if you buy mine" kinda way?
I propose posting a t-shirt design on this blog. If you like it, place an order to me. Once we have 12, i'll place the order to the printers. That design will then be discontinued for ever making all 12 prints limited edition.
If the design doesn't make the minimum order, well i guess it failed and whoever thought it will have to take the pain! Ouch.
Everyone here can contribute a design and battle to reach 12 orders to get it printed. We can do one or two a month, face to face or one after the other...we'll just try and see. If you don't fancy doing the design work thats fine too, just wear them proud!
Who's in?
I'd like to keep this small to start with.
I plan to pay the printers for each order up front, then collect money off those that owe when i see you or online etc. So i don't want to chase hundreds of pounds from strangers! However, feel free to buy for others, i may just ask you for the cash.
Also, there are quite a few designers between us and we probably can't afford new t-shirts every week. So there maybe a bit of waiting your turn to get your print run, and anyone else we include will only make that line longer. Again, lets just see what happens...
